"good to forgive best to forget" describtion of this quote?

i need it urgently. i have an elocution competition on monday(15.7.08)

I think its good to forget, that is resent what people have done and their behaviour, on the other hand its also good to forget, that is leave people's behaviour and wrong doings behind and lose control and stop thinking and worrying about these behaviours and deeds. It is quite easy to forgive people for what they have done, however it is quite hard to forget these behaviours and deeds as human beings.

It's good to forgive people for what they've done wrong because we all do wrong at sometime. But it's also best to forget someone's wrong doings.

You can forgive what ever but not its not easy to forget sometimes

The qoute can be discribed as follows:

It is always better to forgive the wrong doings of someone and move on in life as it is human to make mistakes and forgiving the persons' mistake will help the guilty realize his/ her mistake and not commit them again.

However it is better to forget about the mistake as there are chance of brigning reminiscenes of it int he furture and taunting teh gulity with it years after the mistake.

For example: A child steals a cookie from a shop, his mother catches him in the act ... she forgives him and tells him not to do it again.

but she never forgets the incident and years after the child grows up , she incidentally accuses the child one day over taking away her diamond pendant which she can't find.

in this case even though the child has not done any thing wrong his mother wrongly accuses him of the theft and in turn breaks his self esteem.

Therefore it is better to forget also

makes your life easier and no need to waste energy on small matters.
