Who said that animals (I think?) "are good to think with"? I know it's an anthropologist...

  1. I'm pretty sure that the original source of that quote is Claude Levi-Strauss in The Savage Mind.

    I don't know if he was borrowing someone else's phrasing or not but that's who always see getting cited for that phrase.
