Probably we should quit using our tax money and resourses on country that can't get there act together I'm all for going back to letting everyone kill each other until they mess with us like Prior to WW2

IMF ,US Aid.  World Bank. Africa all of the countries in Africa.

All of South America by U.S. Aid as a mask. Military Aid. Ostensible reason to protect people. Also in Europe in Kosovo, Bosnia, Croatia, U.S.S.R. when it existed ostensibly against tyranny of Communism. Britain, France, Germany, U.S., Portugal, Spain,Japan,  also Middle Eastern countries some say with respect to Palestine. Fundamentalists  both Muslim and Christian also use it with regard to women claim need to save women from nasty Imperialists. Some truth to it but not for these to do. Africa for most European Powers. Japan for China and Germany as an Empire in Africa plus in Chechoslovakia and The Sudetenland annexing it.

I know in the Spanish American war it was reported in the papers that Spain was vicious.etc etc and thus US got into it and beat them, got Puerto Rico, Cuba, Phillipines and Guam.  TO so called help them and free them from Spains reign.  US kept PR and Guam to this day.

None that I know of. Either aid is sent and armies eventually leave or it's an invasion and they stay.
