  1. well i have experience in travel i went to st.louis travel accademy a 5 week course to be a travel agent and was hired on continental airlines right after i graduated. the airlines usually hire recent graduates and the program got you interview with the airlines to get your foot in the door you also can be a flight attendant by going to this school.  you have a better chance at doing this than just applying for a position with the airlines with no experience. its worth the schooling  because you have to go to training anyways once your hired but again the airlines are more likely to hire a travel graduate than off the street and the travel accademy i went too had job placement after graduation and i was hired by an airline  because of my training. it's called ST. Louis Travel Accademy - Robin Geppert is the owner and its in manchester, MO suburb of St. louis, mo  do not go to sandford brown as it is a year to graduate and that colledge is no good..

  2. My advice to you is get on Monster.com or another website and search your area for flight attendants needed... I know Delta seems to be hiring a lot lately.. but they also want you to be bilingual... I definately reccomend looking on monster.com to see if there are any openings in your area for flight attendants and usually you can get their requirements by going to their homepage. Hope this helps!!

  3. My aunt is about 42, and she resently became a flight attendant (though she is attractive and bilingual).
