don't think you can re-instate old password, but try this, sign off, top of page. when you sign in, i think its there that you can change it. if not type a bog est name in, it will tell you wrong password..do you want to change it...yes, follow direction.

or just go to profile..and change it there.

Log into any Yahoo! Page. At the top of the page under Welcome (your Yahoo! ID) is My Account. Click on My Account and sign in. In the first section you will see Change Password. You will need to enter your old password, new password and confirm the new password. Click Finish.
