"life is the sum of all your choices."?

all I can say is," life is what we make it.." since childhood, we were given the freedom to choose this and that... the outcome of our choices shaped what we have become... God has given us humans the free will and the capacity to make our choices in life... it's up to us to make good use of those choices....

Well YOUR life is the sum of all your choices, but also many other things - other people's influences, random chance, etc.

The "your choices" part just means, your life is shaped to a large degree by what you choose to do - go to school, try cocaine, learn to fly, race cars, things like that.  Who you hang with, what you do.

if you live life without choices, determines your life

think about it.

lets start at school...

you could choose not to go to college

you're changing your life drastically...

you'll end up working at mcDonalds for the rest of your life

instead of becoming accomplished..

whereas if you went to college...you could've been a doctor or lawyer...
