"official" transcripts complete ripoff?

So the other day i needed an official transcript for something....

found out the other day their 5 bucks....

the only thing diffferent about "official" transcripts and "unoffical" transcripts is the stupid stamps the office lady added to the "offically" sealed envelope.

just another way college gets my pocketbook i guess....

i dont understand why the things and scholarships/internships I apply for need an "official" transcript.

it's not easy to fake a transcript anyway.

and the other stupid rule at my university is when you open the sealed envelope with your transcript in it its no longer "official"

so basically I can't even see my own transcrips that I paid 5 bucks to have put in a stupid paper envelope with stupid stamps and no real signatures.

blahhhhh If they serve like 1 student every 2 minutes and they get like students all the time....

thats like earning 1500 bucks every day just from these stupid "official" transcripts.....

okay i'm done everyone already knows colleges want money and will get it any way possible.
