  1. the Big3 is refered to the upgrade, not replacement, of 3 main engine cables. this is:

--battery positive to alternator ( with a fuse )

    --battery negative to vehicle chassis

    --battery negative to engine ground

we cannot really provide you with much info since every car is different. but i can give you some tips.

try to use a fuse on the battery positive to the alternator. first, get the info on how many amps your alternator is, and add 10A to it. for example, if your alternator is 70A, then use a 80A fuse.

this is important because if you were to place the wire close to any hot sources that could melt the wires jacket, the fuse will blow and your car wont catch on fire. and if the fuse used is too low in rating, it will be blowing very constantly. but if the fuse used is way too over rated, it will never blow incase of an accident.

every time i do the big3 for any customer, i always go with the thickest cable because why do the job again later on, plus it allows the best current flow and it looks great. some of my customers even like to "show-off" the cables.
