"the catcher in the rye" essay pls help?

i have to write an essay explaining if the book should or should not be read by high school students.i am going to write about why its ok for the book to be read.....but i need ideas and suggestions on how to start my intro......i am not asking anyone to do my essay...i just need help with the intro...tnx!

Perhaps you could start by saying something about how even though the book was written over 60 years ago its main themes (alienation, loneliness, teen angst, etc.) are still relevant today, and the teenagers of the 21st century will enjoy this book as much as teenagers and people of all ages have enjoyed it over the years.
