Do you agree or disagree? Could you sight some relevant, reliable, well-researched statistics that is corroborated by multiple researchers. Please don't post anecdotal evidence because it does very little show the big picture: I know that not all impoverished people are stoners, hs dropouts, or pregnant teens, and that there are rich stoners (ex: Lindsay Lohan). If you are afraid that statistics may hurt your emotionally based beliefs, I suggest you don't answer this question or read the responses. I think this question is particularly relevant when deciding on the proper government policies to fight poverty.

There are allot of teens getting knocked up these days and they don't even pursue child support.  What do you make of that?

Well I know alot of stoners who went on to become doctors and dentists.....but yeah dropouts definetly made sense

Are you fimilar with common sense? No offense but I'll give you a very COMMON f'in SENSE RESPONSE!!!!!!

We have a pride driven society. At the deepest level we work for our OWN families. At the shallowest level we work for ourselves. Undestand then that when pride drives the society this drives ALL THE INDIVDIUALS IN IT BECAUSE HUMAN PRIDE IS IMPORTANT TOWARDS HUMAN DEVELOPMENT! With that said, individuals that are "impoverished" have limited choices on how they can gain this pride, but trust, being a book nerd isn't one of them. IT CAN BE DONE! But thats only thru "self-pride" not "social pride" which is so important to use americans and other western countries. But the point is, it's a simple dysfunction created by a complexly dysfunctional society, but your getting closer, keep researching....

Just realize Money was never met to be a good motivator. All those deviant sub-catogories you define are based on giving up on societies ideals of pride, for your own groups pride. With dropouts, it's your group of drop out friends

With the teen, its your "mans" pride you go for

Stoners, its getting pride, out of having nothing to be proud of.

But do your research on human ego and how it influences our behavior to get your more "Scientific" evidence you lust for.......
