  1. the earth sometimes move closer and farther from the sun as it rotates around the sun

  2. cause the earth is tilted so some seasons the sun is out alot the others not as much

  3. * The position of the Sun over Earth’s surface changes through the year.

        * This change occurs because the earth rotates on a 22.5 degree angle as it orbits around the Sun.

        * One complete orbit of the Sun is equivalent to one year.

        * The sun appears to pass over the equator twice a year in March and September.

        * The movement of the sun over Earth’s surface creates seasonal weather patterns and climatic regions on the planet.

  4. come on blondie, pick up the pace

  5. its all about the sun and earth angled relationship between them, in summer its direct light, and then in winter its very indirect. for example, take a flashlight and shine it directly on top of a table, that represents summer because the light it very local and concentrated. then move the flashlight angle down towards the actual table, not straight down but like keep the light at the same spot but like move 45 degrees away, and youll see that the light spreads out and covers more area, which results in less heat, aka winter, what the h**l did or didnt you learn in school???

  6. The earth is rotating and depending on where the earth is facing the sun, it gets hotter or colder.

  7. Because we would be to cold in the winter, to hot in the summer, to chilli in the fall, and to warm in the spring.

  8. So we can go to the beach of course.

  9. because the Eath is tilted on it's axis.

  10. the earths rotation around the sun causes the seasons to change

  11. cuz thats the way she goes

  12. Summer in the northern hemisphere occurs at the same time as winter in the south, and vice-versa. It turns out that the Earth's orbit is nearly perfectly circular, and the difference between its closest point and its furthest point is very small. In fact, the Earth is furthest away from the Sun in June when it is summer in the northern hemisphere.

  13. ......Because that's the way god wanted it to be.....

  14. Because we can, its because the sun doesn't shine totally in some areas and the tilt/ rotation of the earth around the sun.

  15. cuz we do
