Question:

*sigh* Another iPod problem...menu button won't do it's job?

I've had my Nano for close to a year now, and it just so happens when I press the menu button, with the same amount of force as the others it has a 75% chance of not working, so I'm forced to press it with unnecessary force until it reacts, the only issue with this is, I feel like I'm doing harm because last night it shut off and I got that little pissy apple logo (this is my 4th iPod, me and the logo are very well acquainted) So, is there anything I can do besides taking it back to Apple, I'm really sick of dealing with them, so if I don't have to I'd rather not. Any suggestions? I appreciate any help, if there is any :)

  1. I would call apple, or visit there website. TEchnical support is probably your best answer, and its not to hard. If they cant get it working, and wont take it back, or you dont have the money to repair it, then you might try this website:

    http://www.iresq.com/

The apple site for Ipods is here:

    http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/

  2. I have a good solution, ditch Apple altogether! Take it back, get your money back, and get a 4GB Creative Zen. I have the 30GB Zen Vision M, (for a year and a half), and nothing's happened to it yet, drops and all!

  3. Get a new one, only option you have home is to restore your ipod, and that only fix software issues. If your sick of apple all together get another brand, creative labs have a MP3 player called Creative Zen starts for $70 from 2-32GBs, has radio, recorder, and video playing options. I would suggest getting a iPod touch if you want to get another iPod.

Have to warn you about the creative Zen, if you really like itunes and scrolling thru your song on your iPod, you will probably hate working with Zen
