Question:

...............sore in my mouth

i have a sore in the back of my mouth. right after my very last tooth on the left side. it started hurting yesterday and it hurt all the way down into my throat. today i got a better look at it and its a big bump on my gums. any idea what this is? and do i need to get it checked out or will something like this pass by itself.

  1. It is probably a canker sore and will heal up on it's own. Those puppies can hurt and cause pain to shoot down your throat.  If it is a canker sore it will get worse before it gets better.  If it does not heal up in 10 days I would go see it doctor to rule out oral cancer.  


  2. Perhaps something got lodged between the tooth and the gum. That happened to my brother and it got infected. Nasty. It could also just be a canker sore, though. Personally, I would get something to numb it and leave it alone for a few days to see if it gets better. If not, talk to a professional.

  3. it is called a dry patch that happens when you smoke our drink out of a straw after getting your teeth pulled out. you should still go to the dentist

  4. a cold sore..but inyour mouth?..drink water with salt like 2 times a day..if it doesn't feel better after a few days see a doctor=)
