is there any website where i can type in my address then it shows me how far away the equator is from my house?? its for a science project!!!! thanks! :)

Google maps might.  But if it&#039;s for a science project you might as well figure out how to do it manually.

First figure out what the latitude of your address is.  This you can do with a GPS, numerous map programs, or just approximate it with your city.

The equator is at 0 degrees. the circumference of the Earth from pole to pole is about 40,008 km.  Take the latitude of your home divide it by 360, and multiply it by 40 008 km and you have your answer.
