1. Only for the BBC in the UK the rest of the world that gets BBC via satellite gets it for free, well we pay for them

  2. There is no TV license in the USA, other than the UK the only country I know of that has a TV license is Japan, and I'm not sure that it's compulsory.

The UK TV license is good value for money compared to the cost of cable, especially as the BBC don't have adverts. The problem with it is that you have to pay it even if you never watch BBC channels, this I find to be very unfair.

  3. Of course they don't babe.

  4. No, their TV is paid for in cable fees and ridiculous amounts of advertising.

  5. it is only the u.k. that makes you have a licence for every thing as the general public are so docile they will always do as they are told with out any questions, they simply moan and pay

  6. No they don't.

  7. BBC

EDIT: well if you need me to spell it out for you........no we only pay for the bbc

  8. Nope

  9. No ..my friend in America says their TV is paid for in cable fees. It is only the BBC channel that we pay for ...What a rip-off !
