my grandmother had asthma and i sleep beside her and share food with her and now i have asthma so does that meen asthma is contagous?

and did i get it from her?

and wat caused it?

Asthma is not catching, although it is carried in the genes.  You could have inherited grandma&#039;s asthma problem.  If you are seeing  doctor regarding this, he will be watching you and alerting you on what sets your asthma off.  There are medications out there that help the asthma sufferers of today.  Good luck with it.

  3. No, asthma is not contagious, but it can be genetic. So, if your grandmother had asthma, yes, it is possible that your genetics played a part in it. But it&#039;s not contagious, like the flu or a cold.
