  1. Berkshire is a covering county for slough, maidenhead, cookham, marlow, windsor, reading, etc...

    Like anywhere, parts are posh.  Prices tend to be higher in areas like Cookham.  Slough is where you can get your bargains.

  4. kaii, lets set this straight. 1. i resnt all of the answers. i am from maidenhead in berkshire and no where is particularly ruff except for slough and whitley, and berkshire is middle class not posh. i mean if u take into account that some individuals have large houses and that its the royal  borough. its perferctly nice place to live

    Parts of it are posh and parts are very rough.

  7. It is the home of the Fat Duck. One of Britain&#039;s poshest restaurants. It&#039;s run by the famous chef Heston Blumenthal and was at one stage rated as the best restaurant in the world... you can&#039;t get much posh&#039;er than that...
