Hello everybody!

My name is Mariam George, from India and i have done my Masters in Social Work (MSW) and have 2 years of relevant experience. I intend to go for studies in Canada for the Winter 2009 intake. And the course I would be applying for would be a Full time 10 months accelerated diploma program (either Social Service Worker program or Development Service Worker program)in Ontario.

And here, can anybody let me know after the completion of studies will i be eligible for Post Graduate Work Permit program and if so for how long?

I have got one more query.

I just heard that as i have done my Masters (MSW) and as has 2 years experience; i can apply for the PR on the day i land in Canada and that by the time i finish the course and (if i get) the work permit duration completed i will get my PR. Is this can be true?

Please let me know the possibilities.

Thank you
