have a great cheer, with great moves

have a variety of moves, not just 1 cool one repeating over and over again.

wear shorts to your tryouts, because it will get hot

be a great sport no matter if u get put even as the spotter, at least ur part of it.

many actually:

at tryouts:

-its good to impress the judges with tumbling. its not required of course, but itll help.

-wear school colored ribbons in your hair.

-smile a lot, untill you feel stupid.

-if there is ever a time where there&#039;s like dead silence, say &quot;go (mascot)!&quot; &quot;cmon (name of school)&quot; whatever.

-make your jumps high and worry about little things such as landing with your feet together, pointing your toes, etc.

-show up to the pre tryout meetings so you can learn the tryout cheer.

-when you do the cheer, make your motions sharp, say your words clearly and loudly and bring your words up.

-be peppy and excited.

-make sure you are not wearing any jewelry and that your hair is pulled back and out of your face.

-tuck your t-shirt in so it doesnt fly up and show your bra.

-wear a sprts bra.
