Question

Okay...I just installed Debian on my project desktop, i586 platform, succesfull install. However, I am trying to install Java in order to play runescape on IceWeasel (Mozilla). How do I do this? I tried installing the .bin available from the java website...what can i do??? please help!!! I have a headache!!! AAAHHHHH!!!!!!! *pulls hair out* I didnt have this much trouble with Ubuntu. After I downloaded the .bin, runescape still wont work. :( help!!!!

Here are directions for installing java on Debian.  Ubuntu is a Debian distro you know....

apt-get is fun, I know.

Did you have issues in Ubuntu?  I personally feel that Ubuntu is the most user friendly Linux distro....so why not go back to it?
