I don&#039;t know if this is the one you mean but it seems to me that L&#039;Alouette (The Lark) by Jean Anouilh fits the bill.

That has to be something to do with Joan of Arc.

Domremy is where she is born, Chinon is where she met the King of France, Orleans is one of her famous victories, Reims is where the King of France was crowned and Rouen is where she was burnt by the British.

So definitely Joan of arc.

However, there have been so many plays and movies written about her, I can&#039;t possibly tell you which one you are thinking about... Sorry!
