how does butter get moldy? explain?! please??

  1. it has a very long shelf life but it is made from milk so i suppose it could mold just like milk does


  2. I&#039;ve never seen it get moldy, but if you leave it out for too long, it goes rancid and bitter.  If you get a bit of food on it, the food might get moldy and the mold could spread.
