What is the best way to get rid of eczema, it just abruptly started bothering me around december ( my mother had it when she was around my age)

ive tried lotions and eucerin and nothing seems to work

my little girl has it and she is 1 year old its took us for ever and we have tryed every thing but the only to things that help is i went to the doc and got topical cream and it worked but when i ran out and couldnt get my doctor on the phone on a weekend i looked it up it sounds nasty and gross but it really works use crisco rub it on like lotion leave it on do it every day after a bath keep clean and dry dont use anything scented at all wash your hair in the sink if your shampoo is scented and use a body wash unscented with oatmeal in it good luck
