1. my dog has long hair as well and fleas are bad right now. what i do is cut her hair down w an animal trimmer (it grows back) so if its that bad you might wanna consider this. ive had to bathe my dog 3-4 times just to get about 50 fleas off then i put the flea med on her and a collar. on her most go towards her Heine quarters, to her paws, and in her tail. ive also heard and have tried to kill fleas in the house by sprinkling salt in the rug letting it sit for a couple hours and vacuum it up. fleas eat it and bloat and die. also vacuum 1-2 a week. good luck.

 2. Fleas hide in the skin, they feast off of your pets blood. Please remove them soon, it can cause a lot of health problems with your pet. Also you may need to clean the places where the dog sleeps or frequents. It may be getting reinfested from going there.

 3. Fleas tend to hide behind poorly constructed sentences and really bad grammar.... Clear those up and you'll find the fleas and be able to zap 'em! Good luck!
