Sometimes less than 6 months. This is usually do to the fact that fresh endometriosis is clear and the doctor can miss it. The best way after the surgery to prolong the effects is to take lupron injections. They put you in chemical menopause for 6 months to inhibit it from growing however this injection comes with a whole lot of side effects.
