Question

I put a bunch of wax in my mouth because my braces were reallly really badly hurting my gums, but i think i swollowed it all while i was sleeping. Is this bad? does it matter? (it was a lot of wax, like 1 1/2 sticks)

gross yea, but it wont hurt you. i had this happen to me when i had braces and you will be fine.

I don&#039;t think so. I&#039;ve never had to use the stupid wax because my braces didn&#039;t really hurt other than getting them tightened and when they came on. Also another reason that I never used the wax is because I did try it once it didn&#039;t even stick to my braces which is probably the reason that you probably swallowed it in your sleep. If your really worried contact your dental professional immediately and ask them these questions that you have because we may give you some answers, but they may not be what your looking for. You&#039;ll be fine. Unless you swallow a giant wax ball it won&#039;t really affect you. It won&#039;t get digested and it&#039;ll just pass out in a day or so, kinda like gum.

When I was little I used to eat birthday candles and it never did anything bad to me lol
