1. he is such a jerk! look for a different job. hang in there! he is an absolute rat. tell him you are doing the best you can and let what he says roll off your back until you can find a better job.

  2. Get another job, or report this guy to his superior.

Just because you are a 16 year old female, does not mean you are excluded from the respect due you as a human and a woman. It's hard to stand up for your rights when you are that young.

  3. It sounds like your boss's criticism was excessive. My advise is to quit, take a break from the job market, and do some thinking and hopefully some talking with a trusted adult. You can learn from every experience. When you're ready to try again, look for another job.

  4. 0 summed it up real well. Good luck.

  5. If you don't like it, quit. That's what most jobs are like and you need to learn to deal with it b/c your boss will be a jerk 95% of the time until you retire.

  6. Find another job.

  7. stay strong!!! if he sees you're hurt by him, he'll get frustrated because he probably doesn't think he did anything wrong to you and them be even more mean!!!

  8. I had the same problem, because I used to work in a law office. It was soo stressful there and I was constantly being put down, even if I did something right. Its all I bet I could do it better or something. I ended up staying there for over a year and totally hating my life, until it became so obvious to him that he fired me! Dont wait around for that to happen. Just tell him very sweetly that you are going to look for another job but you appreciate the experience. And just walk away. Its obviously stressing you out, and trust me, getting fired is alot worse because now I have to explain to all my employers why I got fired and they dont take nicely to hearing my boss was a jerk. Sometimes in life you have to deal with those people, but if its affecting your work, I say get out when you can. Good luck sweetie, I hope everything works out for you!!

  9. Why work there then? You should look for a job you enjoy-and enjoy who you are working with and for. It's not the only job out there. Start actively looking for another one and give your notice. You should also express your feelings to this person and let them know, in a professional way, that no one deserves to be treated like that. You are still human after all. You have feelings, just like them. Let them know that you feel abused by them and that they are not only being unprofessional but that treating an employee the way you feel you've been treated is simply wrong.

    Best of luck :)
