I need a summer job but there's one problem. My parents don't really like the idea of me taking out someones trash or me mowing anyones yard. Please help me by coming up with an idea that my parents may accept!!!!!!!!!!!!

try finding a job thant wont need so much manual work something easyer cuz that might be wat your parents are tripping about

It would help if you mentioned your age - is that limiting you from working at the mall or someplace like that?

Go with me on this because I DO have an idea.....

I have to assume if you say &quot;summer job&quot; and &quot;my parents won&#039;t let me&quot; that you are say somewhere between 12-16 yrs  old.  If you are really serious about this why don&#039;t you talk to your parents about the fact that you do want a summer job to make some extra money and to develop some responsibility but you understand their position.  See if THEY WILL  pay you to do some community service within your area.  I am talking about &quot;serious charity work&quot; at a local Soup Kitchen, Homeless Shelter, Humane Society,  etc.....  Not only will this work give you a new view on life it will be an excellent addition to any college application.   I think your parents will be so impressed by YOUR idea they might go for it,

why do you NEED a summer job? if you want to save up money for something, then tell your parents so and you want to learn to try to make some independent decisions in life.
