Question

i have poisen ivy. it hurts. and itches. and its not geting any better. and its spreading. im at my dads so i dont have much things here, i have water, ice ect. hah. but i keep changing but i dont know what else to do to stop the itch and spreading.

DO NOT take a bath.  shower.  when it starts to itch, hop in the shower and take a warm shower.  its ok, the poison will seep from the blisters or pustules or whatever they&#039;re called.  whenever it starts to itch, hop in the shower, pat your skin so the drainage comes off.  when you get out, try to apply an oatmeal paste or the calmoseptine lotion.  try even ice, but if you apply it with the ice wrapped in a towel, be sure to change the towel with each new aplication.  thats how it spreads, the poison/ drainage gets on to unaffected skin, and itchy times ahead.  good luck.
