I am going to McDonald's to feed the cats that hang out there..and I was wondering, would I be able to Bond with a kitten that is probably no older than 3 months....maybe 2??

because there is this calico kitten that I have decided to call Maci.

I was wondering if it would be able to bond with me in one week...

thanks[:

  1. that's the best age to start bonding with a Ferrel kitten... i have a cat since it was a kitten and she was Ferrell and the only person she comes to is me and now she is 8 years old but she is still skittish a bit... good luck on your Ferrel kitten it will all work out 4 the best

i love working with Ferrell kittens and cats good luck!

  2. I caught one of the ferral kittens here at work... and a guy in the other building took it... It was about 2 months old. doing just fine but he calls it zoom because that is what it does all the time.

If you take it away from the rest and bring it home then the bonding will be faster... if you don't then it will learn from the other cats there will teach it to be scared.

just keep trying is all I would say

  3. It sounds like you've already started bonding with Maci :-))

You can probably make friends with that cat but make sure your family is in agreement that you are going to bring a new member home...you will need a litter box, cat dish for water and food, cat food, and soon you will have to take the little thing in for a veterinary check up and vaccinations, about $50 if you go to the Humane Society and $120 at a vet's office.

Good luck with Maci. Make a plan and follow it out to be a successful cat owner.
