Hey Im just wondering when you cut open a mango, why are some of them shredded and some of them smooth? Like the texture of the fruit inside is shredded on some of them. Does this mean its off?

  1. Them more riped they become, the more shredded they become,

  2. when u have a shredded texture it means the fruit is more ripe, and when its smooth less ripe!

    good luck:)

  3. another reason is also the different kind of mango variety some mangoes have smooth pulp and some  had some what more fibrous if that what u mean by shreaded

  4. the shredded stringy looking ones are properly ripe.  Most mangoes you get in the supermarket are smooth because they are not properly ripe, and hence they are also often hard, and not very sweet.
