I never touch drugs, primarily because i worry about what my money goes on to fund and the kind of pockets it ends up in.

However i remain largely in the dark as to the specifics, i only know it can't be ethical.

Anyone got any good links, or can anyone tell me how drugs get to the uk and where the money goes?

  1. Ultimately it goes through the banking system and is invested.

I was told by an acquaintance who was employed high(not a pun!) in the Dutch government that more than 30% of inward investment into Europe was from criminal sources.

  2. Nobody knows - primarily because it isn't taxed. Isn't it the height of stupidity / ostrich like behaviour to fail realize that people will always do these things, so we may as well have some control over it and secure some revenue (which could be used partly to treat the casualties of drugs) ?!

  3. the government.

  4. i live in northern ireland and the drug money goes to paramilitarys and thugs

  5. I'm not sure about the UK. But it's been said that it goes to back terrorists and gangs as well as organized crime. But why here in America would we have a position in the federal government called Drug Czar. Could it be that it goes to him?

    Just asking.

  6. p**s off kim, your probly one of those stupid s***s that buys it from them, dumb racist*****!

  7. It goes into funding terrorist and Obama. Georgia Girl for McCain 2008!

  8. i know the money would go toward more drugs.... but i also think it goes towards fast cars and easy women.

and i've heard of some SICK SICK SICK ways drugs get into many countries...

in dead dogs. dead babies. stupid american's bellies. and crooked gov. officials.

  9. well from what ive seen/experianced cocaine can come from colombia then is bought by dealers at the highest stage of the drug ladder. then basically sold down the ladder until it gets to the druggie in a crack house shooting up whenever they get the chance

obviously the dealers make the money..so that where the money goes and of corse there selling it for alot more then they are buying for..also alot of them are payoing off the goverment/corrupt police etc to let them through borders etc

im sure there are many countries that grow/produce the different drugs..some of the money also goes o=into there runners who transport it..al sorts realy..but the drug lord (might you say ..the one at the top) gets the most

the drugs are smuggeled into the country in many different ways im not sure exactly how. watch some films they will show you!

  10. Wait... so if drug's proceeds went to the government, you would buy them? I am pretty sure that the money goes to the seller, dude. So, never use drugs even if the money goes to charity or whatever. They really mess people up.

  11. Goverment =]

  12. I know the money gets to fund the dealers extravagant lifestyles and to buy more drugs

  13. It really depends on what you buy and where you buy it from... both can be linked to drug lords who use the money and funding for their own illegal gain

however with marijuana for instance, that is easily grown by anyone in small quantities at home, i even know a student who grew and sold his own to help fund his way through university!..it really depends... (that's in the UK)

Cocaine (out of the 2 examples u gave) has the biggest illegal link though

  14. its really easy the money goes to the gov..

all the drug dealers are buying stuff cars, clothing in clubs and they are helping our economy because they are the ones who are buying the expensive rolex and cars and girls everything.. so that money is going to the economy or goverment when they catch them the government stays with everything...
