Ok so i have an ice skating recital tomorow and I am not doing my axel! so Is there a way that a can "Meditate" or do something like that to feel more confident and actually get my axel? help im hopeless.

First, think positively!  Of course you&#039;ll hit your axel.  Meditate by listening to your music, close your eyes and in your mind, skate the perfect program.  Do it a few times.  If you have ice time before then, practice your axel.  Push back, breathe, square up in the neutral position, snap into it, check out.  Don&#039;t throw yourself into it, let your knee getting though and your momentum work for you.  Think of taking off and stepping up onto a new sheet of ice, higher than the one you took off from and pulling into a backspin.  Maybe do some off-ice axels over and over to get more comfortable with it.  The repetition may make you less stessed.  Good luck and give it your best shot!  You&#039;ll do fine!!  :)
