I'm not interested in the all inclusive quick on-line ordainations. I'm seriously curious, I feel drawn to Evangelizism. I was told many years ago that this was my calling. Not so much a revelation as a conformation. I denied it for many years and went my worldly own way. needless to say it didn't work out as I had planned lol. After a prodigal period I've reconciled and wished to make up for lost time.

  1. Come join us if your serious.

We are ordained when we are baptized.

  2. There are several fine preacher training schools. The tuition is free, but you must be able to pay for your living. Usually this means getting some kind of support from churches or a wife that can support you while you study.

Before you do, the term is only "minister" or "preacher". The word "reverend" is used in the Bible only in reference to God, never about a man. The term "pastor" is used only for an elder, which must be married and having believing children, meaning that he is old. It is not used for a preacher. There is no Biblical authority for that.

Brown Trail School of Preaching is a good school. Check it out.

  3. Go to a Christian College, and take classes in Pastoral classes. You can become ordained in 3 to 4 years.

  4. Fortunately for you, one need not be ordained to pursue evangelism. The world is your pulpit.

    Much success

    Blessings

  5. Only God may ordain His messengers.

Stop worrying about the foolish fallacy that any man, or even any school, may give you anything that God Himself cannot give you. That is nothing more than empty pride.

If you feel that calling, chances are that He has already ordained you.

Get busy, then, and do what He has given you to do.

    EDIT:

The only thing the paper is for is to give you the legal right to administer the sacraments...that is, without the paper, you may not legally perform weddings or funerals, or whatever.

You can, however, baptize a person. After all, neither John the Baptist, nor any of the Apostles, ever attended seminary, nor graduated from any school...God, Himself "ordained" those men. Why do we think He can't do so today??

If that is important to you, then any paperwork will do, as long as you are "ordained" by a legally recognized authority with the power to do so.
