Yet again the MotoGP_dot_com boys have been very good buy not only giving you all a free video ( if you are not already a member ) but also by asking the question on behalf of the " Wiggysan " !

So, who you got ?

Do I need to tell you my money is on Rossi.

As for Ben Spies..................... here we go ................... 8th place.

Your placements?

  1. Hi Wiggy! Love these video's!

Like Dingo, I couldnt pick Spies out of a line up, but will go for 10th.

As for the winner - I always pick Rossi - even if he qualifies badly. But you cant rule any of the other top 4 out for the win either. Think JT may also get 3rd or 4th!!

Can wait - wish it was this weekend!

  2. Hi Wiggysan. After the comment on Eurosport describing the way the Yamaha isn't the quickest (top end) but Gets to its top speed quicker than the others. and its stability under braking. and i think its all going to be acceleration to the first corner, foggy esses and the Melbourne loop. Braking to the Esses and the Loop, and getting around the final corner with enough drive. I would have to Go with Rossi. BUT its only the Braking that says Not Pedrossa. But I was wrong about Pedrossa last time out. I want Stoner to win to keep it tight in the championship. and I think he might be able to do it. So I'm going with my want and going to say (Before qualifying- May change my mind for the Tipping.) Stoner.

As for Ben I really think 8th as answered to a previous question. But i Think at least 8th. if anyone bins it he will gain. I think he will stay on board and should be quick enough in the race following others to pick a few off. I think the best guide to his ability will be where Chris V finishes.

  3. Hi wiggysan

My heart says Vale (although as a Brit, I suppose it should say JT)........my head says Dani.

As for Ben.............I'm not sure. New bike, new track, and I'm still not convinced that he's gonna be that competitive anyway. In AMA he has by far the best bike/tyre combination (along with Mladin). I'm not saying that he's not extremely talented...clearly he is. But I need to see it for myself. Him against the proven best in the world. This time round I think he'll be lucky to get in the top 15. Laguna and Indy will be different........and he needs to prove himself there. So I'm gonna wait till I pass judgement.

Incidentally, are you gonna be at Donny? If you are, drop me an e-mail and I'll give you my mobile no, and we can meet up. That goes for any of the other regulars too.

  4. Hey Wiggy

Have cut and pasted this from Blags question:

    "Hey Blagger

I got to Jody's question about him first so will paste me answer from there:

" I've never seen any coverage of the AMA so couldn't pick Spies out of a line up - but I hear good things about him so can't wait to see him ride.

However - I'm not as optimistic as Wiggy (though Donni is his home track!) so I think he will be lucky to finish in the single figures (when Cappi & Vermeulin have been struggling to do the same themselves - and they know both the bike and the tracks)

Either way - it's gonna be a corker!"

End plagarism (can you plagarise yourself??) but I will add - just for you - that if we get typical Brithish summer weather i.e. it pisseth down, I think he'll be lucky to finish!

    It's gonna be interesting!"

soooooo, that'll bw my prediction for Spies, as for a winner - will think about that nearer to the time when I need to get my tips in!

  5. Rossi is the man at Donnington, but Stoner has a good chance as well...

Spies doesnt race in MotoGP...he gets 1st in pretty much all the AMA races though. AMA sucks. Went from the Mladin show to the Spies show... all the action is dow in the back of the pack. In WSB, youve got 5-10 guys going for the win!!

EDIT* I just heard the news that Spies is going to race at Donnington for Suzuki. AWESOME!!! He ought to perform well, if the weather holds out...

  6. It's a bit to early to tell for me, but if I was forced to choose......Rossi! He is on fire this year and Yamaha is ripping this year!!!!!!

My heart is going for Edwards, the guy deserves to get a GP win.
