10. I'm not a Muslim (and I know that Muslims believe in a very different preferential kind of Heaven which resembles life in a way), but I hope you don't mind me answering and sharing my belief.

Everyone will be together in Heaven. There are no negative feelings in Heaven such as jealousy, loneliness, heartbreak, etc. and neither will anyone want for anything so it is different than in this world. Everyone will love everyone...a man will love his wife no more and no less than he loves anyone else (he will love everyone infinately). Marriage is only "until death do you part"...our Earthly bonds are broken at death. After that our physical bodies return to the Earth (ashes to ashes and dust to dust) and only our spirit (or soul) remains (which is the essence of us). The soul then resides in Heaven in the presence of God and enjoys pure love and happiness for all eternity without need or want. If it were not this way then Heaven would be filled with the sorrow of those whose (Earthly) loved-ones were not in Heaven, the jealousy of those whose wife or husband had remarried after their death and discontent. Also, there is no s*x nor sexual longing in Heaven as God views s*x as a means of procreation and it is not needed nor will it be necessary for our happiness in Heaven. In Heaven we will all be as children. We will not need, we will not want, we will not worry, we will not fear and God will wipe away our every tear. I haven't made anything up...everything I have said can be found in the word of God. Have a great day.

Edit: By the way...Your mom is not wrong. They will meet again and they will love one another. So, she's right. Also, I believe that the first souls we meet may well be the souls of people whom we are familiar with (friends and family members).
