As a Wisconsinite I am very hurt by this. h**l one of our reporter's started crying when he retired!

I think that some of the blame has to be put on Farve.  I know it&#039;s a tough decision, but he really shouldn&#039;t have retired so soon if he thought there could be any possibility that he&#039;d change his mind.

As for the Packers, they had no choice.  They moved on from Bret and gave the job to Rogers and they think Rogers is the real deal.  THink about this; Bret plays one more year, and then your in the same boat next year when Farve retires again but this time you have a OB in Rogers w/ no experience.  Might as well make the future now and move on.

i was more of a Favre fan than a Packer fan so, I&#039;m glad hes happy now, well look at it this way at least Tom Brady ain&#039;t the best QB in the AFC East now

We&#039;ve been over this in Wisconsin for some time now...When he announced he was coming back..i was like dude come awwwn! let it go!...He was great, we loved him, Why not end on a High Note. His Reign is over. Favre has been such a Prima Donna over this whole Retiring/Coming Out of Retirement thing....Lame!  He said in like April he never wanted to play for the Packers ever again!. They weren&#039;t even going to let him start anyways (had he stayed with Green Bay), otherwise Rogers woulda flipped out.

The Jets can have him...its not gonna save them...He&#039;s getting older and softer...The Pack don&#039;t need him!

As you can tell by my name..i am a huge Pack fan. I watched him cry and whine saying how he was going to miss football. blah blah blah. Then he comes back so late to say he wants to play again. I am STILL and ALWAYS be a pack fan i say good riddance to him

Be sad, Packers fans, but to be honest, besides the Jets, everybody now hates Brett Favre.

To be honest, if I were you Packers fans, I would be 110% pissed at Brett Favre for what he&#039;s done to your team this off-season.  The team + league had clearly moved on without him, they were going to rebuild w/ Aaron Rodgers and Brian Brohm, and he comes back in and stops the flow.

I never really would root against Brett Favre, but this year, I will.  He&#039;s a Roger-Clemens-like PUNK.

Favre was the main reason why I started to watch football but at some point, ya gotta let go. I don&#039;t see Favre being a JET. It just doesn&#039;t fit to me but just be grateful the state of WI had such a Legendary QB and look forward.
