Question

okay, so i love orcas, and i was wondering about them getting endangered, i know the ones up near Canada are, but what about the rest of the world? (please no rude comments)

Orcas are a migratory species that travel great distances during the year so I don&#039;t believe they could be endangered in Canada if they migrate down the Pacific coast to California.I think under the migratory animal act they would be considered endangered in both countries if indeed they are endangered.

They are a threatened species in some areas, in others they are listed as endangered.

However, no one knows how many Orcas are in the ocean.  This raises concern because there are probably fewer than what has been estimated.

I love Orcas too.  That is a big reason why I am so involved in environmental causes.  Helping stop pollution is a great way to help the species because pollution in the oceans is one of the reasons they are threatened in some areas.
