I was looking into a profession as a psychologists or psychiatrists and I wanted to research more about the different fields that a psychologist/psychologist can specialize in.

I was interested in specializing in mental disorders such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, bipolar etc.

Is there a type of psychologist/psychiatrist that specializes in those sort of things?

I just need to know the name (if there is such a thing) and if you can some information on this specialty psychologist/psychiatrist.

Thank you so much in advanced!!!

 1. Both psychatrists and clinical psychologists or psychotherapists will deal with patients like these. You will not need to specialise until after your medical/psychological degree. (You need a medical degree to be a psychiatrist. Just in case - some people don't realise this until after their psychology degree). Then you can look for that sort of placement - mostly you don't need a different title - just research/post-graduate specialisation in that area.
