Does anybody know where I can buy a pomeranian or chiuaua puppy for under $50 please let me know. I live in the KY area so it would be better if it was near where I live, but I'm willing to get it somewhere else.

  1. xD please, you can't buy DOG FOOD for under 50$ nowadays.

  2. you do know that the cheaper the dog..the higher the vet cost (most the time)

  3. Dogs are quite expensive to maintain. The initial cost of buying the dog is very little compared cost of maintaining the dog, e.g. vet bills, toys, food, training classes, training equipment, grooming equipment, etc. The cost of initial vaccine shots could cost you from $500-$1000 just in the first few months.

One thing you can consider is to volunteer some of your time at your local SPCA or shelter. That way you get to spend time with some really nice dogs, without any extra cost to you, and you also get to do something really good for some dogs in need. You can also get to know the dog people in your neighborhood and volunteer to feed, water, and/or walk their dogs.

The cheapest puppy is probably one from your local shelter or SPCA. Shelter dogs come spayed/neutered, are current in their shots, and usually already have some obedience training under their belt. The shelter will probably also give you good discounts for taking obedience classes from them if you have an adopted dog.

  4. $50 is very very low. I'm guessing you don't care if it's a pure bred. I'm just telling you my papillon was $891 and he's from kansas. Maybe you could go to mexico and get a dog that dies in a week for $50.

  5. If you cant afford over $50, then you probably cant afford vet bills, food bills and more. Maybe if you largen your budget, try your local shelter.

  6. petfinder.com, humane society, animal control

but i have to agree, if you cant offer the donation or buy the pet realistically, then you cant afford food, treats, toys, harness, leash, vet bill, shots, etc.

  7. At the price you are expressing, the best place for you to look is in an animal rescue shelter. You can usually find dogs at near or full blooded in the breed you want, and only pay the small fee, and help place dogs doomed for euthanasia, to find a good home. You can find rescue shelters in almost every community all over the country. I promise you, you won't be disappointed

  8. Check out craigslist in your area.

  9. Whats the need to get a purebred dog? Rescue dogs are just as cute and much more affordable. If your looking for a puppy, then search for "homeless mixed breed puppies" or "rescue puppies." Try www.petfinder.com

  10. Go to a shelter and adapt a dog. You will be glad you did.

  11. Buy a shelter dog. You can find any dog you want there. Try petfinder.com

    Shelter dogs die every day.

  12. If your looking for a dog under $50 you should check your local humane society, sometimes they even have puppies!
