2003 raptor 660r how do i gear a raptor 660r to go 95-100mph and can i do it myself or do i have to go to a shop

There is really no way you can get 95 to 100mph out your raptor. Unless you use NOS. Thats really the only way. Sure you can bore it out, change sprocket size, buy most expensive exhaust, air filter, bigger piston, and lots of other things. But you will never get to 100 mph without NOS. You will need to put a smaller tooth rear sprocket on it, stock i think that the rappy is good for high 60&#039;s low 70&#039;s so you will need a change of more then just 1 or 2 teeth. Also put a plus 1 or 2 teeth front sprocket on the machine.

However if you go this route you will loose your low end power. The acceleration will take longer and it will be more likely to stall.

You can do it your self, it is fairly easy you should just need hand tools. You will need the t sprockets and a new long chain, you will take the links out of the chain that you need to make it fit.
