Question

A man was found murdered on Sunday morning. His wife immediately called the police. The police questioned the wife and staff and got these alibis:

The Wife said she was sleeping.

The Cook was cooking breakfast.

The Gardener was picking vegetables.

The Maid was getting the mail.

The Butler was cleaning the closet.

The police instantly arrested the murdered. Who did it and how did they know?

i found it in the internet and i found it kinda hard and easy at the same time

Maid - Mail isn&#039;t delivered on Sundays. Not here anyway. I suppose she could be getting Saturday&#039;s mail though...

Mail doesn&#039;t come on Sunday....but you said the body was found on a Sun morning which could mean the murder was committed on Sat night.  But I&#039;m sure its the maid.
