a) What is the magnitude of its net linear acceleration 15.0 s later.

b) What angle does this net acceleration vector make with the car's velocity at this time?

  1. V = a*t = .5*15 = 7.5 m/s²

    Ac = V²/R = 7.5²/30 = 1.875 m/s² inward

    a)  An = √(Ac² + At²) = √(1.875² + .5²) = 1.941 m/s²

    b)  ÃŽÂ˜ = arctan (1.875/.5) = 75°
