Question

I started school on Wednesday. I have benn in this district for 2 yrs now going on 3. The first two yrs have been great s ofar,I have made great friends,I hang out with anyone so it makes life easier and I like different people(not a certain clique). BUT this yr is different. I have aquintences in some of my classes but no one I would consider a "friend" I'm soo sad and a little angry becuase I find it rediculous that I have a good 8 people I would consider semi close and NONE of them are in any of my classes,to top that of I don't have any friends in my classes(close or not). I'm really friendly but I don't want to seem like Im budding in peoples faces or something. My question is HOW can I get used to this,or how can I make new friends. These are people I wouldn't consider really talking to too much,they are extremely preppy,not my comfort zone at all! HELP (I feel very unlucky)

You can never have &quot;too many&quot; friends, so don&#039;t be afraid of talking to the new people you didn&#039;t think you would like before. You might be surprised! Some of the best friendships start out with the two people in question hating each other at first!

So definately try to make new friends! Don&#039;t be scared, and don&#039;t approach it with a negative attitude (by saying to yourself &quot;well, I don&#039;t like these people anyway, what&#039;s the point?&quot; because until you really know those people, which you don&#039;t, you don&#039;t know whether you like them or not!).
