Are you able to get unlimited texting for Sidekick '08, without buying the email and internet with it? Im really confused and Im not sure if you are able too. Its my brithday and my uncle will buy me a Sidekick '08, but my mom is making me pay for the texting. I cant afford the email and internet also for $30. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

The Sidekick Unlimited add-on is $20/month, not $30, and includes unlimited text messaging, email, web browsing, IM, and picture messaging on the LX and newer models of the Sidekick.

The standalone Sidekick plan is $29.99, but if you have a voice plan and add on the Sidekick feature, that&#039;s $19.99.

You can still use a Sidekick without it, like any other T-Mobile phone, but it&#039;s not so great as you can&#039;t access email or internet, and sometimes Sidekicks lose your contact list when they&#039;re turned off, as they really rely on accessing the Sidekick servers.

For individual lines, unlimited messaging is $14.99, so going up just $5 more is really worth it to add on the Sidekick feature, in my opinion.
