Why are sausages called sausages....when they aren't very saucey at all???

They are called sausages cause they are yummy

their called sausages because all they are is a waste of processed to eat.they are scraps of meat. and i dont know really if there called meat.they are all the scrapes from other meats.its processed and that not good for you
