Question

I'm going to go to an amusement park in a couple of days, with water rides and rollercoasters. What kind of shoes should i wear, flip flops or tennis shoes (kinda skater like)? I don't want to have any trouble with my shoes while I'm there.

I can tell you from experience that if you wear flip-flops or strapless sandals that you&#039;ll have to take them off if you ride any rides where your feet dangle.  The ride operators don&#039;t want your shoes coming off during the ride.  There are usually bins for you to put your loose items while you are on the ride &amp; then you retrieve your stuff when the ride is over.  

I personally prefer tennis shoes over flip-flops becasue I don&#039;t like to risk losing my shoes [i.e.-another rider takes my shoes by mistake or on purpose] &amp; I think tennis shoes offer my feet more support than flip-flops for all the walking &amp; standing in lines.

Wear whats most comfy, But with water rides I would say flip flops, you can sit on your flip flops on the roller coasters so just make sure they are flat ones and your feet are used to them so you dont get blisters. Oh at most places you can leave your shoes at the exit too.. your flip flops I mean the ride attendants watch them .. and you just get off and put em back on :0)

LOL How does squishy water ride tennis shoes sound or stinky cause theyve been wet all day :0)

Tennies would get wet and be uncomfortable, flip flops fall off of your feet on a roller coaster. I would opt for sandals that strap in the front and back.

i would wear some type of sandals that have a stap on it to make  sure the shoe stays on

or i would wear some flats that u know wouldnt fall off.but make sure the shoes are comfy ;)

tennies shoes so when you on a ride you won&#039;t lose them. ig you wear flip flops it is going to fly off the ride. i done that once and i lost my flip flops

I would go for shower shoes.  They will stay on, are not made of cloth that would get uncomfortably wet - quickly turning to moldy, and are very comfortable.

i usaully wear my converse and pack my flip flops (cause they are lighter to carry ) for water rides i use flip flops and for dry i use sneakers
