And what's the difrence?

¬_¬, i wish my iPod hadn't been stolen. all this faffing around coz my MP3 player wont play MP3's, and has to have the files converted to WMA. Not impressed.

Certainly. Normally the better version of firmware or update is Server 2, not Server 1.

Server 2 seems to have much livelier viability. It also seems to be always on top of things when it comes to latency issues.

Also because you can do better things such as video conversion, thus transferring files between formats on virtual auto-pilot. Another great thing to do would be get the iPod Classic, because it allows you to line up all your songs on automatic using a new key feature known as Cover Flow.
