Question

I'm a boy and my hair is about as long as my avatar's. But my hair isn't straight. In some parts it's curly, in some parts it's wavy, and in some parts it's straight. I would like to try using a straightener. What would be the best kind to use?

i just recently bought a straightner at heb today and any conair as long as it&#039;s ceramic should b good or u could just get it chemically straightned

Straightening your hair is g*y, unless you really are g*y. If not, just cut your hair. If its not naturally attractive that long, then cut your hair.

Use a flat iron. Tip your head down to let your hair dangle and move the straightener from your head to the tips. That&#039;s basically it.

Hi, I have a straightener that I absolutely love. It can be used on wet hair, (if you take a shower in the morning and don&#039;t want to blow dry first) and it keeps the moisture in while you do it. You can use it dry, damp, or wet. It is call Wet 2 Straight-REMINGTON. The only thing I dislike about it is that when you put it down, it doesn&#039;t stay very well. It tends to fall over a lot. i would say get a cheap one that doesn&#039;t straighten it to be all shiny then you will look like a wet dog and a girl...do you know what i mean? like if you straighten it to much then it will stick to your head and look like you did it. you should just go over it kinda and let it be messy surf hair.

Chi. They can get a bit expensive, but on ebay you can get good prices! I did.

I have this stratner you use it to straten your hair wene its wet but i just use it wene my hair is dry its called a RAMINGTON WET2STRAIT.

it works really goooood.....

well since youre a boy (not trying to be stereotypical) but you probably wont spend even half as much time on your hair as MOST girls do....so i would just suggest a revlon or maybe even a bed head at the local drugstore.

if you live some where in the new york area go to jet bueaty supply they always recomend the top of the line hair products if you dont live in new york go to a good beauty supply store and ask them. they will akways tell you which one is the best

A CHI!!! they are amazing.. but there kind of expensive.. but totolly worth it and will last you forever!!

Since you&#039;re a guy, i wouldn&#039;t advise you to go buy a realllly expensive, professional straightener. Try Conair or Revlon. They&#039;re fairly cheap and widely available. Also, get 1/2 inch plates, any bigger and it&#039;ll be hard to straighten bc you have short hair. hope this helps (:

Um, its going to look strange if you straighten it, but if you&#039;re in the whole Joe Jonas look, I would recommend using the Chi. They&#039;re pretty expensive though, $100. You might consider a cordless one too, but those are $200.

I think that you should get a haircut because for boys to have long hair you either have to have really curly hair or really straight. Plus you are not going to want to straighten your hair every morning i dont even want to. So i think you should just get a haircut but be sure to look up cool haircuts on the internet because its insane what haircutter people do to boys hair its just so bad.

Use anything. It will eventually get straight. But you should blow dry it so it doesn&#039;t fry. Email me for steps to doing that.

my sister swears by a chi hair straightener!! the chi has conditioning ions in it or something, making your hair straight and shiny at the same time. they are a lil pricey, but so worth it . plus, always use a mousse or conditioning leave in cream before you us eit. it will coat and protect your hair from frying:)

I&#039;ve heard Paul Mitchell is great for a guy...  But straightening takes some time... If it doesn&#039;t look bad, why don&#039;t you just try blow-drying it?

i use straightners and im not g*y its becuase i have curly hair ... and when i have straight hair it looks good ... i use my mums GHDs they are the best you can get but also expenize about 110 pound in england so ... but dont listen to shallow people say your g*y the only reason i straighten my hair is to attract girls why would i give a **** about what lads thought lol

if you want to straighten your hair you can always use a thin straighter because it is usually faster to get all the wavy ness to go away asap

Ok.. I&#039;m not really sure considering I&#039;m not a boy but u know I think u can pull it off  by asking ur hairdresser, if u don&#039;t have one, get one! Its really simple. I ask all my hair questions to my hairdresser and she knows exactly wat 2 do!
