to push yourself to where you are shaking while u stretch??

  1. If you mean is it ok to do this, than yes, to an extent, it is. But, make sure that you don&#039;t do it so far it feels unbearable, or you cry. I had a girl in one of my dance classes that stretched so far that she cried because of the pain. That is dumb. Don&#039;t do that. Just stretching to the point where you are shaking is ok. Please be careful.


  2. Stretching to the point that it hurts is counterproductive.  You damage the tissue and then it micrscars tighter than it was before.

    You should stretch to the point of mild to moderate discomfort and hold it there for 30 seconds.
